Best food and atmosphere by far....
I just had lunch there and the owner passed me his laptop to vote if I liked the food.
I did in a flash because it was the best lunch I've ever had as far as Lebanese food.
Highly recommended. We will be back for the arabian nights and the delicious food again for sure.
Anthony Vanemberg is the best host I have ever seen. He involves the crowd in his show not to mention he is the most versatile singer anywhere. Any song you want Anthony sings it with perfection. Hope more people comment on this.
Best Entertainment while you eat delicious food we've ever experienced anywhere.
Impeccable Service and stylish location.
It would've been nice to see Japandroids: http://www.newindiebands.com/new-bands/ind…

I never had such a great time and great food in one spot. Whatever they offered, keep it up, it was the most amazing experiences we had for a long time.
The belly dancer was so talented and moved to the perfect beats, nice touch.
Delicious food, lot of it, it kept on coming and coming allowing us enough time to enjoy we loved the fact that they didn't bring everything at once.
We are hooked, heard about this place before but never tried it before.
Incredible spot, clean, elegant....very reasonably priced. It was a set menu that night which we understand, it was packed and made things much easier on us.
We will be back soon you can count on it. The Flamenco added nice excitement to the mix.
We felt like we traveled to Spain, then the middle east in one night of adventure and great entertainment and not to forget the most flavorful food we ever had.
Thumbs way up to this great spot, snaubar, which means pine nuts according to the soft spoken owner.
Cliff and Carla
They recently did a beautiful CD "Where is Pannonica ?" I would strongly recommend this show. I don't know where Pannonica is, and if I did, I would tell her to rush to these guys right now.
Leslie Milne's performance in "Woman In Mind" should not be missed. She is powerful and convincing, displaying emotions which run the entire spectrum. An excellent play.
The show was wonderful. And he must have liked Halifax - he came on stage well before 11, and I was home by 1:30.
But where were all the red headbands?

One of the best casts assembled in recent years, led by a very experienced director (Louise Renault) and backed by a skilled crew will be sure to make Thirteen Hands a hit in the newly renovated Pond Playhouse.
Description
A multi-media presentation with well-known Montreal-based activist Jaggi Singh. Using research and lived experiences, the presentation will raise questions about all border controls and nation-states; make the case that all human beings have the autonomous right to migrate, resist displacement and return home. The big picture is one of global apartheid, and with the economic crisis deeply set and the G8/G20 working to keep unequal relations intact, the terrain of struggle grows rougher.
About Jaggi Singh:
Jaggi Singh is an organizer, active on indigenous solidarity, migrant justice, no border, anti-poverty and anti-police brutality issues. He is a founding member of groups such as the Convergence des luttes anti-capitalistes (CLAC), No One Is Illegal, Solidarity Across Borders and the Montreal Anarchist Bookfair, as well as many related campaigns and initiatives. He is also a writer and independent journalist, and has reported from occupied Palestine, India, as well as all over Turtle Island (aka Canada). Jaggi hosts a monthly current affairs radio show on CKUT 90.3fm.
