Biscuit's golden tickets

The Argyle Street boutique is playing Willy Wonka

Boxing day at Biscuit General Store (1661 Argyle Street, 425-5436) can get a little crazy, in a good way of course. With a selection of clothes, shoes, accessories and quirky little house wares at a whopping 60 percent off, can you blame people for channelling their inner Veruca Salt? Well, this year the Biscuit team has decided to, in turn, channel their inner Willy Wonkas.

In the spirit of the holidays, the downtown boutique will awarding three golden tickets, granting all-access boxing day shopping. With each item you purchase at the shop from now until December 22, you'll be entered into a draw for these hot commodities. If you're lucky enough to win a golden ticket it means no waiting in line for you. Ticket holders receive red carpet, private access to Biscuit's sales 30 minutes before doors open to the public, allowing for first dibs and personal shopping assistance (ie: someone to remind you how good you look). So if boxing day turns Biscuit into some sort of madhouse (like the Mic Mac Mall circa 1992), you don't have to worry. And the best benefit: winners get to bring a buddy.
