Chalet Realty has moved

Chalet Realty has closed up shop on Barrington Street and while we’re sad to see it leave the south end, we’re happy it’s doing so well. “Although we loved, loved, loved our building and loved being in the south end, we outgrew our space, which as a company is pretty exciting,” says co-owner Anne Da Silva.
The company moved out to 617 Windmill Road in Burnside on June 1, leaving the limitations of downtown behind. Now operating with a crew of nine realtors, she says they were doing the best they could in the old house on Barrington Street but simply didn’t have enough space. She says parking was also a problem.
“We really wanted to be in the position of choosing a place that we loved and that allows us to still create some of the ambiance and the environment that we had created on Barrington Street,” says Da Silva. And she says they’ve found that in their Burnside shop.
There’ll be a grand opening for the new location on June 20.
