Bob Blumenthal Auto Sales and Service expands
Mechanic Lee Redding brought on for new Dartmouth location.

The ever-delightful Megan Blumenthal tells me that her dad, Bob, is expanding his business. Bob Blumenthal Auto Sales and Service has been in Sackville (54 Sackville Drive, 880-3388) since 2004; now he is opening a new Dartmouth location at 336 Portland Street---at the former gas station/repair shop near Neighbours Pub. The new location is close to the Blumenthal home.
Bob has hired well-known mechanic Lee Redding to oversee service at the new location.
"I once asked Dad why he doesn't retire, why he keeps doing what he does," says Megan. "He answered: "I' sell cars because I love all of the different people I get to meet each day. We sell cars to people who have lived in our community for years, and many to new immigrants, excited to start new lives here in our province. You get to know everyone. You're part of the community.'"
