is a local graphic designer who grew up in western Cape Breton. This year she self-published a coffee table art book called twentythree
. She sells her missbrenna products at the Seaport Market from time to time, and twentythree
is currently available at Atlantic News
(5560 Morris Street, 429-5468), though she sells her stuff mostly through her website missbrenna.ca
. In addition she has twentythree
greeting cards, posters and conversation starter cards/bookmarks. "This book would appeal to people who like Post Secret," explains MacNeil. "twentythree
is a trip through the minds of people you know and don't know. Abstract photography, thought-provoking questions and anonymous answers to those questions."
If you're interested, check out the book online or at Atlantic News soon, because twentythree
is available only in a limited quantity. MacNeil has printed 350 and there are maybe 110 remaining.
