You’d think we planned this, and perhaps there was a little forethought to all of it. The Nova Scotia chapter of the Business Alliance for Local Living Economies (go to ballens for more information) is promoting Buy Local Week from November 26 through December 5, just as The Coast has its Buy Local Halifax guide now on the stands, along with promoting the Buy Local Pledge, where readers are encouraged to go on thecoast.ca and pledge to spend $100 this holiday season in locally owned businesses. It’s a perfect storm of local business support. Make it so.
