Jackie! On one of our trips from Fredericton to Windsor about a year ago, I discovered the absolute BEST beading store and it is called The Bead Pod. On our way back to Fredericton today, we stopped in so that I could browse and buy but to my utter dismay, the windows were papered with no forwarding address!! :-( I agree with the others who have posted - you have the VERY BEST selection at competitive prices - I have checked Michaels in both Canada and the US and they can't hold a candle to the beads you have, so I DO hope you will set up shop in another location. I'll look you up on Facebook so I can find out your new location. - Linda :-)

Hey Jamie...

You were one of my beloved customers on my mind before closing. Tell Jen, rest assured I did keep my 'toothpaste carving' she made for me. If you are on facebook, add me, Jackie Percy...come into 'the loop'. xxoo's to all!

Jackie,

I went over to Dartmouth Crossing today to make something at your store and my heart sank when I saw the papered windows. My whole family is sad to see you close (especially Jennie, who gives you a big patented Jenniehug).

I hope you open someplace else because you have, by far, the best selection around and you're a lot of fun to chat with! I'll drive anywhere, name the place.

Take care,

Jamie

I never went to the Bead Pod since they moved to Dartmouth because it was too far from where I am in Clayton Park without a car.
I agreed though that Michaels has driven out a few crafts stores. Michaels charges way more and doesn't have everything I need. I guess it's back to buying online though I would rather buy local.

Sadly, I predicted this would happen. Those little stores get lost in Dartmouth Crossing. With Michaels Crafts not too far away, I suspect the competition was just too much.

im so disappointed! This was the nicest store within the reach of HRM, but do to the odd location and slow business in Dartmouth Crossing the shop couldn't last. I hope they relocate elsewhere I loved that store because the offered so much more than the typical do it yourself jewelry store.
