Delayed Ryan Duffy’s

Posted by Lindsay McCarney on Thu, Apr 3, 2008 at 2:24 PM

The old Ryan Duffy’s Steak & Seafood (5640 Spring Garden) closed up shop last week, earlier than expected. (Originally, it was scheduled to stay open until the new Duffy’s in the Radisson Suite Hotel was good to go.) “We couldn’t do the two things at once and the other one’s getting demanding as we get things up and running,” says Damian Byrne, CEO of Landmark Hospitality Group, which owns the joint. The new Duffy’s will open “as soon as the furniture arrives,” says Byrne with a laugh. That’ll hopefully be in the next two or three weeks. There’s no word yet on what’s going in the old Duffy’s space. Can I suggest a tiny IKEA?
