Guns N' Roses come back to Halifax to promote Chinese Democracy on February 4 and now I'm feeling extra glad I learned solo two from November Rain, because you never know. Crotch Waffle... first of all I never stated that G n' R is the same as before. Secondly, the guitarists in the new G n' R have all had solo careers for a long before teaming with Axl Rose; they're all more talented and famous than you'll ever be, so stop talking about them like they're beneath you. And the only reason Slash is famous in the first place is because of G n' R! He was a nobody prior to Appetite for Destruction.
The retarded people are the ones who are all like "Oh I hope the old band has a reunion and everything goes back the way it was". Grow the FUCK up. You honestly think that is EVER going to happen? Stop whining about how life changes and fucking deal with it.
I agree with BRoc. You people claiming that GNR is still the same as before are semi-retarded. If any joe-blow with a guitar can play just as good as Slash, then why is he so famous? Do you get this excited when other cover bands come to town?
You morons have no clue. Oh well, go see the Axl Rose Band, I don't give a fuck. As far as real staying power and credibility go, I'll be going to Slayer in February. Slayer would eat Axl for breakfast and shit that whiny puke out for lunch.

What the heck is up with you haters? Learn to identify good music when you hear it. Slash or no Slash, Axl Rose is a genius, and the other current band members are all great musicians in their own right. Grow up and stop living in the past. Would you rather have the music industry completely dominated by hip-hop and other crap like that?
Personally, I'll take the new G n' R any day over the garbage that plays on the popular radio stations these days. At least Axl Rose can still write MUSIC.
If the original band regrouped I'd love to go, it won't happen for this show though.
