Concert Announcement Haliween '09 with DJ Jazzy Jeff and Skratch Bastid

From Press Release HQ: "The party is poised to be one of the largest Halloween parties to be held in Halifax since the banning of alcohol effectively put an end to the Argyle Street Mardi Gras in 1990. The 3000 person capacity event venue anticipates to be close to capacity this Hallow’s Eve and expects the “A List” entertainment and the costume prizes---totaling approximately $10 000 altogether including top male and female *cash costumes* costume awards (including a random draw for an all inclusive trip for two to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico), will entice the garbed party goers to attend en masse."

I would also like to award this press release writer for penning what is now my favourite phrase: "garbed party goers."

Along with DJ Jazzy Jeff, are Skratch Bastid, Z103.5’s DJ NoLuv, 101.3’s R$ $mooth, Jordan Croucher and Jofo and Ambition.

Tickets will be $25 advance and are available through www.ticketpro.ca and all TicketPro outlets or over the phone by calling 1-888-311-9090. Doors open at 8pm at the Cunard Centre (961 Marginal Road).
