Seriously, who votes in the "Best of Halifax" poll? Obviously not anyone who's been at any music venues and actually seen/heard SOME of the acts that won. If these "musicians" are the best we have to offer, no wonder people complain about a shitty music scene. —At least three of them can actually play an instrument and or sing well

Thanks so much for pointing out that my boyfriend is too good for me now that he's out west making shitloads. And telling me that I should drop 50 pounds or go out there and make my own big bucks so I'll be "on his level" was oh so lovely. FYI, he's all about personality, not looks or money in his partner! — Fat chick

Thank you to all the HRM residents who took the time and effort to shovel out their precious gas-guzzling cars, but couldn't take the time to clear their sidewalks!

OH! And while I'm on the topic of responsible transit and snow - Thanks also to HRM transit for not updating the GO times to announce that the buses were no longer running. Some of us don't use social media to get these updates! —Fed up with winter

I'm so sick and tired of dudes in cars cat-calling women as they drive by. If you are so desperate to "pick up chicks," then actually compliment them and treat them with respect. Honking or yelling "nice tits!" is NOT flattering, and is in fact street harassment. Don't be surprised when a woman tells you off for it. I would. —Back Off, Dude

At a certain grocery store on Quinpool people love to take carts from the store and then leave them all over the parking lot - even taking them to the nearby apartment buildings. I even saw one left blocking a DISABLED space. Are you that lazy that you can't walk an empty cart back to the store entrance, or just inconsiderate of others? —Thanks for fouling up so many parking spaces

Why is Nova Scotia so poor? Why can't we be a have province? Have we ever been a have province? The answer to the previous question is yes: when there were plentiful fish and coal was king, and trees were plenty...Could we be a have province again? Suggestions are welcomed. —Tired of the SOSO (same old same old)

A big "Screw You!" to whomever is responsible for ploughing the very south end of Barrington Street. I know you're surely busy trying to help clear streets all over the city, but seriously, you plough Smith Street and can't be bothered to plough the very south end of Barrington Street. Or decide to clean half the sidewalk and turn around. I hope you're getting a half-assed salary for doing a half-assed job! —Late and stuck in what you neglected!

Okay, I'm not trying to be ignorant, but I'm just wondering if anyone else thinks that there are too many handicap parking spaces? Whenever I go places there are always SOO many not being used.

Also, with the risk of pissing a lot of people off, I would just like to say that if they can't walk across the parking lot, how are they going to walk across a shopping mall?

Does anyone agree?

It's not that I'm lazy, I'm actually in really good shape, but I just don't understand why in huge stores like Walmart or sears, there has to be 10 designated parking spaces for handicap people at the front of the store, when they are going to be walking around inside.

If you can't walk across a parking lot, don't walk around for hours inside.

Personally, ever since I paid hundreds of dollars to repair a ding on my car, I've been parking far away from the building.

I never park near the entrance, but I have noticed more and more cars parking near me, while the empty handicap spaces lay there, a total waste of real estate and resources. —I love to walk

I know that a minority of nice bus drivers do probably exist, but for every nice bus driver there are 100 bitter jobsworth bastards that are intent on making your journey as uncomfortable as possible. The next time a bus driver disrespects me I'm going to let him have it....(by getting off the bus and not saying thanks...take that you fucking nazi!) —insulted
