What is better than fried chicken? A whole bucketful of fried chicken.
That’s exactly what Coastal@Night (2731 Robie St, 401-5307) is serving up, starting Saturday. All you need is five friends (it’s listed with a six person minimum on the menu) and $35 each.
“We’ve got a regular posse who come down for fried chicken specifically,” says Coastal@Night’s Graeme Ruppel. The fried chicken is served with waffles, “smashed” potatoes, seasonal vegetables, apple butter and maple syrup. Yep, cult following makes sense now.
The menu also has a pork arista, popcorn polenta and finally the whole meal is topped off with some birthday cake.
The restaurant just needs one week's notice to serve up the “Bucket of Chicken” menu, which will be a permanent addition
