Julien's Bakery in the Hydrostone changes hands

New owner Duane Malone ensures a smooth transition

Beloved bakery, patisserie and cafe Julien's (5517 Young Street, 455-9717) has quietly changed hands. The delicious baked goods are still being supplied by Didier Julien's homebase in Chester, but the cafe is now run by Duane Malone. Watch this space for more details on Malone's vision for the business going forward.

"Going forward," as an addition to any sentence is redundant. It's an empty rhetorical gesture. Since one cannot go backwards in any meaningful way, one can only "go forwards." The sentence reads perfectly well as "Watch this space for more details on Malone's vision for the business."
