It turns out our sources were
right on the money. As we'd heard, what was the
MIX Fresh Kitchen is now a club and bar, offering DJs every night and cocktails.
La Trinidad Lounge & The Listening Room (5171 Salter Street) is now open, Tuesday to Saturday from 5pm until late. Along with dancing, fancy cocktails and "an awesome selection of local and foreign cheeses and meats accompanied by local breads and garnish," a broader menu and lunch hours are promised soon. Check

We wish them all the luck in the world. A club may be exactly what that space needs. Despite a great view of the harbour through those big windows,
Atlantic Steak and Lobster Co, The Crown Diner and
MIX Fresh Kitchen all were unable to make a go of it at that location.
