The first time you examined Stinky Pie, you told us that she had only one kidney. You fixed her teeth and her heart murmur and the blood clot that almost killed her ten years ago. Until her death at 17, she kept her kittenish ways, always running and playing. When her kidneys failed, we knew that it was time for her to go because she wasn't running. You put her to sleep gently with both of us there. Then you sent us a condolence card about a rainbow bridge. Last week, we got a letter from your university letting us know of your donation to a new building you made in Stinky's name.
This goes above and beyond what anyone should expect from a veterinarian. We want you to know how much we appreciate it. —Pussy Galore
