The Big Rift
Unfortunately - and not surprisingly - The Big Lift focuses on cars in our car-centric society. When I checked the Big Lift app just before the removal of the pedestrian and bicycle pathways, there was no mention of this imminent, 18 month effect on active transportation unless you dug deep to find a date with no time.
I doubt dogs will be permitted on the shuttle/ferry either - are they to swim across? —18 months...really?!
