I applied for disability. Because I have a disability. I am manic depressive and have a heart problem. I have worked and worked and worked. I have 2 jobs that make up full time hours and I still can't get ahead.

Under doctors orders, she advised me to go on disability for the summer months. The heat puts my heart in overdrive, so to avoid (another) stroke - I had one when I was 22(!), she advised I take the summer off. So I get the papers and put in my notice to my jobs. And I am denied help from the government my (and yours, and your sisters, and my mothers...) tax dollars pay into. I went to EI, I worked 40 hours a week for more than a decade, and I still didn't make enough to qualify for EI.

So the people who lie and say they are injured when they aren't, or say they don't know the father of their child when they do, and he is helping financially, or say they pay more rent when they do, get all kinds of money handed to them, I know it's barely enough to live on, but I will be moving back in with my parents and I will only pay 200 to them and the power bill. why do the liars get the help they don't need when I (and many others) get to suffer in silence? —Tired of it
