Each day, I stand at a crosswalk on North Street to cross. Today as I stood there, several cars went through the crosswalk.
Now normally, I might be upset that so many cars went through the crosswalk. But unfortunately, there is only really about half of the crosswalk painted on the road. Why is that?
Work crews painted the lines on ONLY WHERE THEY HAD REPAIRED THE ROAD. Where there are new asphalt patches, there are lines, but otherwise there's nothing because the lines have disappeared over the winter. So it looks likes sort of like connect the dots (or in this case, short dashes).
Quite ridiculous and ineffective. I'm all for saving the city some cash, but seriously? —Shaking head
