Best album of the year "The Devil in me" The Lodge. Mike Oneil to me is the real voice of Halifax. Joel Plaskett yes, but it really bugs me how many people LOVE him now that couldn't tell you what Thrush Hermitt or In Need of Medical attention are. Been a plaskett fan since da one and never thought I'd see the day when I'd have to give that up because he got to mainstream.

Mike Oneil has kept that somewhat behind the scenes mystique. FOr so long I've wanted to hear him rock it out with a full band then BAM outta nowhere I see The Lodge. LOVE IT! It's 1993 meets 2009 and sooooooo good.

Hey Dart Mouth.

I'll admit that I wasn't a Joel Plaskett fan until I saw him perform at the EMAs, but why do you "quit" an artist when they become popular?

That sounds a little too hipster doofus for me.
