Ship’s Company Theatre 2011 season revealed
Love in Cape Breton, nosy postal workers and Patsy Cline

On the main stage from June 29, through July 24, Out the Meadow, written by Bev Brett, recounts two opposite characters finding love in a haunting Cape Breton landscape.
Following, The (Post) Mistress, by Tomson Highway, runs August 3 through August 28. The musical tells the story of a small-town post office worker, who has the knack for knowing what’s inside sealed letters. With this ability, she discovers private secrets of people’s lives. The second stage features Lorne Elliott’s Three Evenings of Music and Comedy, on July 27, 28 and 29.
As well, the Monday Night Concert Series promises to have something for everyone, with a variety of Atlantic performers throughout the summer. The fall main stage show is Sunnyside Café, playing September 6-11. Pam Calabrese MacLean recounts the life, trial and tribulations of a waitress.
After Sunnyside Café, the Patsy Cline tribute show is back from September 30-October 2.
